How to make the perfect Nescafé cake from the scratch.
Here er are talking about about Nescafé cake for a strong coffee taste in each bite you have. It has a very strong flavor for coffee lovers who cannot resist its coffee richness flavor.
This is the third recipes in homemade recipe Lockdowns series. In our quarantine we have to find something delicious and tasty to have.
The lockdowns recipes series :
Preheat your oven at 160 degree before starting preparing the delicious recipe. In your mixture’s bowl crack three eggs and add 1 teaspoon vanilla extract then whisk for three minutes. Try to whisk your egg very well, it will give you better result for your cake. If you do not have kitchen machine no worries you can mix the ingredients manually, but you have to mix it for more time for best result. After mixing the egg with vanilla extract add 3/4 cup of sugar and keep whisking for at least 3 minutes. Do not forget the more you mix your ingredients together the better your cake will taste better.
Add 1/4 cup of Nescafé coffee and keep whisking till all the ingredients mix well. To prepare the Nescafé coffee add 1/4 cup of hot water then add 1 teaspoon of Nescafé powder into the hot water, and mix them together. This Nescafé coffee you will add it over the mixture. Then add 2 tablespoon melted butter in your kitchen machine over the mixture and keep mixing the ingredients together. To have the melted butter I add 2 tablespoon of butter into a dish and heat it into the microwave for 1 minute or till it is melted. Then add 2 tablespoon Nescafé powder and 2 tablespoon cocoa powder into your kitchen machine over the cake dough and keep mixing.
In a separate bowl add all the dry ingredients together before adding it into the cake dough. In this deep bowl add 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon baking powder and 1 cup flour and set aside. When the cake mixture is mixed together into your kitchen machine add the dry ingredients mixture into the mixer. while adding the dry ingredients decrease your kitchen machine degree in a low degree and start adding the ingredient slowly. Add the flour ingredients spoon by spoon in low degree. After adding all the dry ingredients keep mixing the dough for more three minutes to mix all the ingredients very well.
Now it is time for baking:
In your backing tray spreed Spread parchment paper in the bottom. If you do not have parchment paper you can butter the bottom of the baking tray then add little flour over the butter. Flip the tray and press over the bottom of the tray- the other side not the side with the butter and flour. This step is important to get rid of the extra flour out of your backing tray.
Then add your Nescafe cake mixture into the baking tray. Be carful do not shake the mixture too much while add it and do not mix it again after you put the cake dough into the backing tray, so the mixture will not lose its weight and will not be affected while backing.
For backing add your cake into the oven at 160 degree for 35 to 45 minutes. I prefer to cover the cake while baking with parchment paper for 10 minutes so the top will not burnt before the cake is done. And then after this 10 minutes I uncover the cake and continue to bake the cake till it is done.
To know when is your cake is done add a knife into the middle of the cake, if your knife come out of the cake clear then your cake is ready to be eaten if not then your cake have to stay more time in the oven.
How to serve it:
The Nescafe cake is just a normal cake but with a strong coffee taste. Then serving it will not differ from another cakes. You slice your cake into pieces then add it into a dish and then your tasty cake is ready. You can also add Nescafé coffee sauce on the top of the cake for stronger taste. You also can add honey over the top for sweeter taste if you love your dessert to be full of sugar flavor.

- Then add all the dry ingredients into kitchen machine spoon by spoon in low degree.
- Keep mixing the dough for 3 minutes.
- Spread parchment paper in the bottom of baking tray.
- Add the Nescafé cake mixture into the backing tray.
- Bake at 160 degree in the oven for 35 to 45 minutes.
- I bake the cake covered with parchment paper for 10 minutes, then uncover the cake and continue baking.
- I prefer to do so the cake top will not burnt out before the cake is done.
